Factions Runic Realm

Let me start by saying this map has NO set end date. We are still doing weekly payouts, but hopefully this gives people a place to play while they are playing on our other Demonic / Heroic realms, or other faster pace servers. Factions Runic is a realm much different then our other realms. Demonic & Heroic are notorious for being super fast pace, very op, large amounts of TNT in the economy, etc. We have redone so much, raiding will not be super easy at all, not to mention we have a huge world and no corners so no one gets an advantage. You will have to be strategic with your raids, and in general their should be a lot more pvp going on in the server with simple enchants & max protection 4.

If you are a factions player, or aren't and factions peaks your interest, I highly suggest you check out this new style of factions, its new, but it is also has reminiscence of how OG factions use to be. Keep in mind this Factions Runic realm will be something we are updating weekly, whether it be tweaks, updates, optimizations, we are here to make this last. :)

Factions Top
The map has NO set end date, meaning you can earn this weekly payout every week for a long period of time, so even if you get raided, re-build you can win the next week. :)

In total, we will be having $365 in prizes EVERY WEEK! Here is the breakdown.
Each faction will be required to set a PayPal using /f setpaypal <email>. This is used to automatically pay out the top factions each week. The map will last X weeks including a 1 week grace period. There will be payouts every week with NO set end date, so you can collect this and earn a good amount of money!

First Place - $100 PayPal
Second Place - $75 Buycraft
Third Place - $50 Buycraft
Fourth Place - $35 Buycraft
Fifth Place - $30 BuyCraft
Sixth Place - $25 BuyCraft
Seventh Place - $20 BuyCraft
Eighth Place - $15 BuyCraft
Ninth Place - $10 BuyCraft
Tenth Place - $5 BuyCraft

Herbalism Top
At the end of the week, the top 3 players on /mctop Herbalism will be rewarded. To gain herbalism levels, all a player will need to do is farm different crops, such as sugarcane. Here is the breakdown
First Place - $30 BuyCraft
Second Place - $20 BuyCraft
Third Place - $10 BuyCraft

Prestige Top
At the end of the week, the top 3 players on Prestige Top will be rewarded. To gain more prestige levels, all a player will need to do is work their way through the ranking system with /rankup. Here is the breakdown
First Place - $30 BuyCraft
Second Place - $20 BuyCraft
Third Place - $10 BuyCraft

At the end of the week, the top 3 players on /mctop will be rewarded. To gain herbalism levels, all a player will need to do is farm different crops, such as sugarcane. Here is the breakdown

Third Place - $10 BuyCraft

General Information
This realm is runic/ dark fantasy forest themed.
We will be having one world with zero corners.

Overworld: 50,000 x 50,000 (from -25k to +25k)!
Nether: 2,000 x 2,000 border (cannot claim in nether)

We will be having a one week grace period. The grace period will mean the following things:

TNT, Creeper Eggs, and any form of explosions are disabled.
Gen Buckets will work when enemy players are near.
Mining Spawners will not cost money during this period.
The command /fps will be disabled.

During the first hour of the map, we will be disabling a few things to make sure the release goes as smooth as possible

Flying will be completely disabled.
The command /wild will be disabled
Everyone will be invisible at spawn.

Factions Information

All of the important information required for this map are listed below:

Players per faction: 30
Power per player: 100 (Capped at: 2,500)
Alts per faction:
Force Invites: DISABLED
Buffer limit: 20 chunks
Cannon Speed: 5 seconds
Regeneration Walls: ENABLED
Protection: 4
Economy: Cane, Cactus, Mobs
Currencies: Money, Mobcoins, Tokens, XP.

On Factions Runic, raiding will not be super easy. We are taking it back, with no printer, enabled: regeneration walls, 5 second cannons, and a huge 50,000 x 50,000 (from -25k to +25k) world, with 0 corners, and in general a harder tnt economy (so not a ton of TNT in the economy) / along with NO Semtexs. We hope this allows people to play on a realm they won't get raided in the first week. Keep in mind, if you do not like this play style, we will still have Demonic / Heroic for a more fast pace play style. Keep in mind this realm will have no end date planned, we will only reset it when the community really wants a reset.

Weekly Updates & Weekly Payouts / No Endate
With an indefinite length to our brand new Runic realm, we want to ensure that everyone always has something to be working towards, and that the gameplay does not become stale and boring for the players playing. To help combat this from happening, we will be doing weekly updates which will bring a bunch of new changes to the realm to keep everyone hooked and give them the best playing experience we can possibly offer.

This being said, we will pay out every week, so even if you do get raided, do not give up, as you can come back and raid another faction to regain your position in F-TOP. Also with their being no set end date, you can end up collecting a good amount of payout collectively to use on Demonic / Heroic while you still play on Runic.

In general we have revamped all gkits, kits, enchants, etc. Meaning no crazy annoying enchants for pvp, all simple enchants for armor, etc. That being said, kits do not give you a ton of pots / gapples. This will mean you will have to either grind EXP to buy potions, or brew them. For god apples, you are gonna have to grind blazes (drops gold / small chance of gold blocks)& cow spawners (drops apples).

mcMMO Perks
In the new Runic realm, we are looking to reward players with more than just the basic fishing and mining rewards. With the new realm we will be adding a whole new level of perks towards mcMMO and ALL of it's abilities! The top players in each of the abilities will first off be rewarded with a unique kit that only the top players in that skill can use! Other specific perks can include unlocking /fix [all/ hand] as you reach a various milestone in mcMMO repairing!

Mob Drops
To better benefit this brand new factions experience, we wanted to make sure the economy was just right. To do this, we had to get to the basics, which includes the drops that each mob will drop. The core mobs in the economy will now all drop new items. Some of them include: cows now dropping apples, pigman dropping gold & gold blocks, creepers now dropping gunpowder once again, with a chance to drop tnt.

Hybrid Economy
This Economy is the ultimate hybrid economy. You can earn money by farming, grinding cane, afking cactus, mob drops, etc! On top of that, we have 4 currencies - Money - (obtained in various ways), Tokens - (grinding cane or fishing), Mobcoins - *NEW* to Vanity (grinding mobs - each mob has a difference mobcoin drop rate - info will be in game), EXP - (grinding mobs, especially blazes!), used for enchanting & buying potions!

Castle will not be on the upcoming Runic realm, the only thing in its place will be the good old traditional outpost! When a faction has outpost captured, it will grant a 2.0x sell rate to things sold, just like traditional outposts on factions always have. Adding on, without Castle, there will no longer be the normal castle in warzone, nor a dungeon of mobs to grind for rewards. Grinding mobs will be solely available from grinding in your own base. The outpost will be housed in it's own separate world.

Rankup System
On Factions Runic this reset, we will be having a re-worked rank progression system, as a remodeled version (from demonic/heroic this current season - we have fixed it) of our previous /rank system. This will allow players to spend their ingame money to progress towards a new leaderboard, which will reward the top players on it every week! In the new system we will be adding a prestige system, which players will then be able to compete in for prestige top. As well as the weekly payouts, players will also be rewarded with various perks, sellboosters, kits, crate keys, and more from upgrading their prestiges and ranks.

Potions will become a bit more of a rarity than they usually are in factions. They will now only be sold using EXP in the shop, and kits will give very minimialistic amounts of potions. The primary way players will be getting their potions now is through good old fashioned brewing! We encourage players to brush off the dust on their brewing skills and be prepared to brew a load of potions!

Wilderness Spawners
In hopes to bring back a bit of more traditional factions, or in other words, "Runic" feel to the gamemode, we will be adding back spawners to be mined in wilderness underground dungeons. There will also be a more strict anti XRAY system in place, along with staff making sure that players are getting these spawners all legitimately! Spawners found during grace will be free to mine; however, if they are found once grace period ends, they will cost money to mine just like any other spawner!

Nether Spawners
There will be a nether world in the upcoming Runic realm, but it is advised that nothing important is ever built in the nether! The nether will be in place to house blaze spawners. On Runic, the only way to obtain blaze spawners will be from scouring through the nether fortresses to find them! Every week the nether world will be entirely wiped (including bases, farms, etc)! Each week with the new nether will bring a fresh new set of blaze spawners to be found.

Spawner Changes
Along with all the new free spawners to be obtained from the wilderness of the overworld and nether, we will also be introducing plenty of changes to how the core spawner system on Runic actually works. One of the first changes is the fact that we will be removing stacked spawners. It will return to one spawner per block, instead of the usual eight per. Next, we will be adding a progressive spawner value increase. Every one hour the placed spawner will go up in value. After two weeks the spawner will reach it's maximum value

Simple Enchantments (MAX PROTECTION: 4)
After looking through all of our custom enchantments, we have decided to remove a majority of them! In the brand new Runic realm, we will be limiting the custom enchantments to solely potion effect enchantments, such as saturation, fire resistance, etc. Additionally MAX protection will be protection 4! All custom enchantments will be able to once again be bought using experience. To obtain custom enchantments, players will be able to buy them through the usual /enchanter GUI. (You will be able to buy these with EXP)

Ancient Tools
You will spawn with "Ancient tools". These ancient tools include a Mobsword, Cane Hoe, Base pick, Fishing Rod, Sell wand, and Backpack. All these can either be used to gain XP, Mobcoins, tokens, money, loot, or help you build / destrcut your base. You enchant them all / level them up in the central /enchanter gui. Keep in mind these tools are now balanced, and just make the grind a bit more fun. :)

Cane Hoe: This is a ancient tool, grind cane to earn tokens, money & other rewards!
Mob Sword: This is a ancient tool, kill mobs to earn mobcoins, money, XP, etc! (cannot use on other players only mobs)
Fishing Rod: This is a ancient tool, catch fish, to earn mobcoins, money, XP, etc!
Sell wands: Just like the usual sell wands, but everyone gets one, it starts at 0, you can level it up to sell for more!
Backpacks: When you grind cane, it goes into your backpack when your inventory is full, you then start auto selling it from your backpack.
TNT Smelting
With creepers being reverted back to now dropping gunpowder, we decided to add a brand new use for the gunpowder that will now accumulate! You will now be able to combine your excess gunpowder into TNT. It won't be like default Minecraft crafting with the sand and gunpowder. It will be solely using the gunpowder your grinders have accumulated.

If you are asking why we are doing this? It is so you do not get raided week 1, the second TNT is enabled! We want factions to have to strategically plan out their raid, and not just have dubs of TNT, and be reckless with it.

ShockWave Pickaxes
Usually players have the /pickaxe to upgrade their shockwave pickaxes to a maximum of 7x7x7, and with the ability to add a few enchantments to it as well. In this new shockwave pickaxe sysrem, we will be eliminating shockwaves bigger than a 3x3x3 in the upcoming Runic realm. This will help keep the progression at a steady pace with the length that maps on Runic will last for.

All new PvP Area
We now have a pvp world in a secluded area, this means you cannot escape out of pvp while in combat tagged, and in general it should be easier to find people / more ease when pvping with a flat arena.

NOTE: We have re-worked a lot of other stuff, and have other new features, so if this change log got you at all interested in this new realm, hop on and check it out this Saturday at 3 PM EST. That being said keep in mind with weekly updates, this will allow us to improve the game mode as the season is going, so if you have any suggestions feel free to PM me on discord or comment here!:)

Any rules for regens, any cannon rules other then 5 seconds? What is tnt hight limit? Base size limits? What kind of gen buckets will be available? Also what will insiding rules be? If tnt is harder to get, and takes more time why not enable tnt after first 3 days to make it a bit more interesting?
