Factions Top
In total, we will be having $2500 in prizes. Here is the breakdown.
Each faction will be required to set a PayPal using /f setpaypal <email>. This is used to automatically pay out the top factions each week. The map will last 4 weeks including a 1 week grace period. There will be 3 payouts.

First Place - $950 PayPal & $200 BuyCraft
Second Place - $525 PayPal & $150 BuyCraft
Third Place - $200 PayPal & $50 BuyCraft
Fourth Place - $100 BuyCraft
Fifth Place - $90 BuyCraft
Sixth Place - $75 BuyCraft
Seventh Place - $60 BuyCraft
Eight Place - $55 BuyCraft
Ninth Place - $30 BuyCraft
Tenth Place - $15 BuyCraft

General Information

This realm is heroic/hero themed.
We will be having a total of three worlds, with a total of twelve corners
Note: A faction can only have one corner claimed at any given time.

Main World: 10,000 x 10,000 border
Hell: 5,000 x 5,000 border with flat terrain.
Main Block: Netherrack
The End: 5,000 x 5,000 border with flat terrain.
Main Block: Sandstone

We will be having a one week grace period. The grace period will mean the following things:

TNT, Creeper Eggs, and any form of explosions are disabled.
Gen Buckets will work when enemy players are near.
Mining Spawners will not cost money during this period.
The so-called “bitch claims” will be removed.
/fps will be disabled.

During the first hour of the map, we will be disabling a few things to make sure the release goes as smooth as possible

Flying will be completely disabled.
/wild will be disabled
Outpost will be disabled.
Everyone will be invisible at spawn.

Faction Wars
Factions will now be able to challenge each other to an all out war between each other, in their quest to see whoever is more skilled in PvP. Factions will be able to choose whichever size war they want to do (xvx up to 25v25). All players participating in the war will be teleported to an enclosed pvp arena at the same time. The competing factions will be able to wager different items, if they wish, on the war. The winners obviously will be rewarded with whatever items/ valuables the other faction has wagered. Before entering the war, all players competing would need an empty inventory, to ensure that their wagered item winnings aren't lost!

Duels System
At long last, we are bringing the duels system back to Vanity factions! It has been long overdue that we bring back the duels system. During it's break from the server, it has been completely redone, to make the duel experience even better than the last time it was on VanityMC! There will be a ton of new duel kits, new arenas, new challenges related to duels, and much more to come!

Revamped Enchanter
We have changed how our custom enchants work significantly once again. We have also added a new feature to the enchanter! Now players will be able to disenchant their items. This will remove the custom enchants on the piece of gear. Additionally, we have changed custom enchant levels. Custom enchants now go to level 100, depending on the enchant.

If you ever have too many unused gear, or enchant books, you can now exchange them with the tinkerer to get a percentage of the worth for that item back! Players will be able to exchange their enchanted gear, tools, and enchantment books with the tinkerer. In return for their valuable items, the tinkerer will offer them either money or EXP for the items they are trading! The tinkerer will always be around for people to use whenever they have stocked up on an excess of these types of items.

Herbalism & Playtime Top
Players will now be able to compete for these two new leaderboards on the server! The top three players on each of these leaderboards at the end of each week will be awarded various buycraft prizes for their extreme effort and dedication! All it obviously takes to win herbalism levels is punch the cane all day (#NoCaneNoGain). The most active players will also be awarded (no AFKing on the server all day doesn't count!).

Revamped Economy
After some recent polls, we have gathered the community's feedback on what they would like to see be the primary economy for this upcoming map. For this map, the primary spawner will be iron golems, and the primary crop will be sugar cane.

Hiding Spawners
We have changed how logging out with spawners in their inventory works. From now on, if a player logs out with spawners in their inventory, it will spawn an npc for any player who stumbles upon it to kill! When killed you will drop the spawners, and when you log on you will not have them anymore.

Weekly Hosted Events
We want to have a new event for players to participate in each week of the map, to keep things fresh, and the players involved in what we do. This map we plan to fully use all of the new events, such as bloodbowl, capture the flag, dungeons, and more. Below will be the description for each of these events. We will also announce well in advance when each event will be, so everyone is well informed!

Bloodbowl is a PVP event. Essentially, Bloodbowl will be similar to capping a KOTH; however, it will have various mobs spawning which will attempt to knock you from the cap. In short, these mobs will be as strong, or stronger than an average player with a god set, so it will consequently double the number of people who are trying to knock you!

Capture the Flag
Capture the Flag is exactly how it sounds! There will be four spots for flags to be taken, and there will be one central area to score points. Players holding ‘flags’ will have a beacon beam projected into the sky for players to locate them. The first faction to reach (X) amount of points will win the CTF event!

Dungeons is essentially an extensive mob fighting arena with parkour and traps. There are 3 waves which a player must also pass to complete the level. Once the player completes this level of the Dungeon they will move on to the next stage. From there the levels will become harder, and the rewards better.

Factions Staff Improvement
Over the last few weeks we have taken a serious look over our whole factions staff team. With demotions and promotions where need be, we believe now the team behind factions will be able to help and set new standards moving forward! Mods will also no longer be allowed to play in a faction. We have also now got more dedicated screensharers, who will be a great help making sure everyone is playing fair, even the sneaky people! And finally at the top of it all, we now have two dedicated factions managers who will be consistently involved in the community, and always looking for new ideas for future maps!

Revised Rules
Over the last few weeks we have worked with the community, and staff team to improve our current set of rules. During the factions meeting we held with the whole community, we were able to get some useful information from players that has helped us shape these new rules! Close to launch, we will be posting these new, revised factions rules for everyone to look over, and get themselves informed on.

Additional Changes

  • Starlight - Custom enchant that will give you night vision when equipped (applicable to Helmets).
  • Magnet - Custom enchant that will automatically make mined blocks go into your inventory (applicable to Pickaxes/ Spades/ Axes).
  • Spawners, gear, and other valuable items will not be destroyed when dropped in lava, or fire.
  • TNT Storage cap has been upped to 5 million TNT.
  • Enderpearls will now stack up to 64 in one stack.
  • Clearlag warning has been added.
  • Semtex now throw twice as far.
  • Armour breaks 25% faster now.
  • Outpost now gives whole faction 2x sellbooster.
  • Boosted mining & fishing rewards.
Bug Fixes

  • Fixed stacked cows not dropping leather/ meat.
  • Fixed players not being able to warp to darkzone through the new /warp GUI.
  • Fixed issues that prevented Sumo & LMS from working.
  • Fixed to allow iron golems die from normal heights.
